customers when one of the employees triggered a silent alarm, they started shooting killing two restaurant employees, both in their 20s. those suspects ran away and now we do have a crew and reporter on the scene and it will bring us a live update. they are getting ready for another commute, the bart trains have stopped moving and so have the negotiations. no new talks are scheduled for today, however we understand negotiators are now in an oakland oh hotel. there is also clearly some and mousety to -- animosity coming between bart workers and others. i said they went to --

the army psychiatrist will finally enter a plea this morning. and in military cases the defendant is not asked to enter a plea until right before the trial is scheduled to begin. hasaan faces execution or life without parole in the attack that killed 13 people an injured nearly 3 dozen others. they are looking for a bank robber and on sunset drive they were robbed before 1:00 yesterday afternoon a man walked right into the bank and gave one of the tellers a note demanding money and nobody was hurt during the robbery. the suspect was described as a white man between 25 and 30 years old, he was wearing a black and white baseball hat at the time, a purple dress shirt with black tie and gray pants. the city of oakland is

hot and there is a little more fog over the bay. look at antioch, 78 degrees, livermore is in the 70s, then the lower clouds get closer to the coast and some of the visibility is awful. the fog you can't see it but this is definitely going to throw in higher humidity and we will go anywhere from $60 to 100 on the temperatures to all over the map. higher clouds should take if they hold on and it is going to be hot and humid inland and we have 60s mainly on the coast and it is always a little warmer. wednesday into thursday does look cooler and a big cool down should take us into the weekend. european markets starting the day with losses, they had a mixed finish for trading days

the bart strike continues this morning, bay area commuters, you are letting ready on day two of the bart strike, they have been moving and so has contract negotiations, no new talks however negotiators on both sides are hold up at a hotel and it is possible talks may resume at any time. tara moriarty is joining us live in oakland to tell us what is happening there on day two of this bart strike, good morning, tara. >> reporter: good morning, the charter buses are filling up and they are double the number of charter buses and this one is getting ready to travel. 76 buses totaled and it was

costing $70,000 to do that. we had to get an updated dollar amount to do that and they tied up peak hours and people saw their commute times double, even triple. it was gridlocked earlier than usual and they went to carpool lane, three plus passengers to the bridge. back here live if we want to come back here, we can show you another bus just pulled up and folks are beginning to board this bus as well. you certainly have other options if you want to head from the city to vallejo to marin you can head to the ferry and they have ac transit and all of the people heading out from oakland to san francisco. you can see that more people are just starting to arrive here and we will talk to these people and figure out how it

affected their commute. ktvu channel 2 morning news. carpooling hours are extended and the new hours will be 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the bay bridge toll plaza and these hours will be in effect between the carquinez bridge and the bay bridge toll plaza and they will be strongly enforcing these new hours. they will be running as talks continue to avert a strike there. contracts are for more than 1600 bus drivers and union leaders have agreed to extend the contract negotiations and the unions are at odds if a strike is called the act i saw amount of riders and it carries
